Facade cleaning

Since 1992, KTV Group has washed over 10 million m2 of facade. We have extensive experience with most different surfaces, and we can ensure that the facades are cleaned without damage. We have developed methods that keep the facades clean without high pressure with our product SelfCleaner. Our unique maintenance agreements ensure annual cleaning of buildings, where the buildings will always appear clean and tidy.

Today we have an annual responsibility for over 500,000 m2 of facades. Founder and General Manager Kennet Nilsen is the main person behind the unique maintenance agreements, which, among other things, have garnered international recognition. Via our quality system, customers have a website where you can follow the job / agreement over time. There is no working day without a report and photos.

As the only player in our industry, our system is based on the standards ISO 9001, ISO 4001 and OHSAS 18001. Our certifications provide extra security for our customers.

KTV Group offers agreements for window washing outside and inside.

There are big differences in which method you use for window cleaning. Where the building is located and in what environment is decisive for the choice of method. In suburban areas, dust is a major problem, and a window wash therefore requires soaps with rinsing with water. Elsewhere, greenery is a challenge, and it is necessary to wash the window frames extra well.

We have extensive experience, and you should be confident that we choose the right method. Several new buildings today use self-cleaning windows, which is also another procedure for washing. One should be aware that cleaning the windows is important for the longevity of the glass. Dirt that is left for a long time with large temperature influences will eventually become difficult and get clean. Strong chemistry with mechanical washing is required.

Availability is not normally a problem. We have our own lifts, and we have rods that we can extend to reach great heights. We can also wash with osmosis and ionized water without the use of chemistry.

Unique documentation

KTV Group has a strong focus on delivering quality services with unique and good documentation.

As soon as an order is created, the customer in question is automatically sent a link to their own customer page. Here, the customer can at any time find all documentation on the services we perform / have performed. The documentation can be reports, photos and videos, checklists, forms and other documentation.

The SelfCleaner method

KTV Group has developed its own methods for keeping buildings clean without the use of high-pressure washing.

The method is to apply KTV Group SelfCleaner annually where needed.  The development of the product is a result of our experience over almost 30 years. Read more and see examples of effects here.

Facade washing with drone

KTV Group is finally ready with a solution for washing facades with a drone. This has been a development project that has been going on for several years, and where a lot of testing has been carried out to find the optimal solution.

SelfCleaner was first developed to be able to wash facades gently. The next part of the development project was to develop a drone that would be able to apply SelfCleaner. We have now managed this, and the video shows test washing performed in Løvåsen Borettslag on high-rise buildings that are 46 meters high.

This is one of the most important development projects in KTV Group’s history, and the project has already received international attention.

The result is that we can now wash facades without a lift, scaffolding or climbing.

The next step in the development project is to be able to carry out spray painting using a drone.

NS-INSTA 800

We perform cleaning in accordance with NS-INSTA 800 during the construction of new buildings and during rehabilitation or maintenance. NS-INSTA 800 ensures quality during construction, and provides a safe and good working environment. During execution, different cleaning techniques are used in relation to activities and cleanliness requirements from the customer.

KTV Group has developed a maintenance program that takes care of buildings.

Our maintenance programs are long-term and give the client predictability. When a building changes owner, it is a clear advantage to be able to deliver with a service booklet that documents external maintenance. KTV Group gives customers a completely new experience of external maintenance, which provides significant savings.
