Ventilation cleaning

KTV Group is the only player that offers long-term maintenance agreements for ventilation cleaning with a duration of 10-20 years. The agreements ensure clean ventilation pipes. KTV Group carries out inspections every three years and performs ventilation cleaning as needed. With a maintenance agreement, everything is done at a fixed annual cost, without risk to the customer.

Most people do not think about heat loss, cooling problems or air quality with dirt in ventilation. The reason is often that you only see the outer pipes and that you cannot see the pipes inside.

All ventilation systems need regular cleaning. Cleaning is essential for safe indoor air, minimal heat loss and efficient cooling. All cleaning is documented in our quality system with video of all pipes after cleaning. Everything available to the customer via its own web link.

We offer such agreements all over the world, on rigs, ships, land-based facilities and buildings.

Fresh air
Cleaning ventilation systems is the key to fresh air. All ventilation systems should be cleaned every 6 years. The reason is that the pipes form a breeding ground for microorganisms such as fungi, mold and other bacteria.

Most people are very surprised to see what their pipes really look like after only as little as 6 years. If the pipes may not have been cleaned in 10-15 years, then you should, for example, examine the workplace’s sick leave. In all probability, much of the problem lies in ventilation. Other indications are also large effects on radon or fungal spores in the air.

KTV Group uses a method that provides 100% clean pipes. Our equipment supplier puts it this way; «Most people who make equipment for cleaning ventilation pipes sell equipment that gives the customer a good conscience. On the other hand, we have developed equipment that gives the customer a good conscience, but also 100% clean pipes ».

Quality
KTV Group always works to ensure the quality of our customers. That is why we use the market’s most efficient and modern equipment, where every smallest meter is documented.

We also offer maintenance agreements where we check the quality of your pipes every 3 years, and clean if necessary. The inspections and work are documented for our customers with video and photos.

As soon as an order is created, the customer is automatically sent a unique link to their own customer page. There, the customer can at any time find all documentation on the services we perform / have performed. The documentation can be reports, photos and videos, checklists, forms and other documentation.

Studies have shown that contaminated ventilation systems are a hygienic risk [821] that reduce air quality [822, 823] even for small quantities of air [824]. The accumulation of dirt on components such as blowers, heating/cooling coils and heat recovery units can reduce energy efficiency. Dirty ducts can increase the risk of fire and the spread of fire. It is a documented fact that cleaning ducts and unit components can improve user experience of indoor climates and reduce illness/symptoms due to a poor indoor climate [825]. A ventilation system can often have about as much surfaces area as 10% of the floor space in a building and amount to a large hidden and often forgotten surface. The system is designed to send a sufficient amount of clean air to buildings and remove contaminated air. Ducts and components in a ventilation system get dirty and contaminated during use and require frequent checks and maintenance.
