KTV Working Drone is faster, safer and more sustainable.
Wide service range, autonomous cleaning and patented roof safety system.
With KTV Working Drone, we offer a broad range of services, including facade cleaning, window cleaning, solar panel cleaning, cleaning of installations and infrastructure, drone inspections and, in the near future, surface treatment. KTV Working Drone is the only certified company in the world offering autonomous cleaning drones.
Our technology is designed to eliminate the need for personnel to work at height or in high-risk environments. By removing people from potentially dangerous tasks, we increase safety while delivering faster and more precise results.
We operate across multiple industries, including property, oil and gas, infrastructure and the energy sector. Our solutions cover cleaning, surface treatment and inspections.
KTV Group has developed proprietary cleaning methods such as KTV SelfCleaner, KTV Window Metal Cleaner and KTV NanoCoating. These systems are designed to prevent surface damage, particularly damage caused by high-pressure cleaning, and ensure safe and effective cleaning of even the most sensitive materials.
The drone, developed by KTV Group, uses a contact-free cleaning method that combines filtered water, heat and moderate pressure, without chemicals or mechanical impact. The drone can also apply KTV SelfCleaner, a specially developed facade cleaning agent that has been used by KTV Group since 2015.
Our proprietary sensor technology provides centimetre-level precision and sets a new standard for quality, while significantly improving HSE performance.
In addition, our patented roof safety system anchors the drone securely to the building’s roof, eliminating risk to people and traffic in and around the work area.
KTV Group winter maintenance with snow ploughing and salting
Winter maintenance
KTV Group is responsible for winter maintenance at more than fifty properties in Bergen and surrounding municipalities. We carry out both snow ploughing and salting throughout the entire winter season.
Our winter maintenance agreements are based on a fixed monthly fee, regardless of weather conditions. Our vehicles operate around the clock from 1 November to 30 April, and during a season we visit our customers on average between 110 and 150 times.
Our agreements ensure that roads and outdoor areas are always kept free of snow and ice. We take full responsibility for monitoring conditions and carrying out the necessary work, without customers needing to contact us each time ploughing or salting is required.
Customers are also provided with access to a dedicated link where they can see when the snowplough has been on the property and what work has been carried out.
KTV Working Drone inspection services.
We carry out advanced inspections using high-resolution photography, thermal imaging and 3D modelling technology. Our inspection services cover a wide range of structures and installations.

Our inspection services cover a wide range of structures and installations.
We perform advanced drone-based inspections combining high-resolution photography, thermal imaging and 3D modelling.
This enables the identification of heat loss, moisture ingress, corrosion, structural changes and loose facade elements with fall risk, long before damage becomes visible or costly.
Unlike traditional methods, we combine thermal and visual data with engineering expertise. Each inspection is analysed by certified engineers who interpret and verify the findings, ensuring high accuracy and reliability.

Our technology identifies:
- Corrosion, cracks and structural deformation
- Moisture and water ingress
- Heat and energy loss (thermal bridges, insulation failures)
- Loose facade elements or glass panels with risk of falling objects
- Air leakage, material fatigue and delamination in steel or composite materials
KTV Group is the only provider offering long-term maintenance agreements for ventilation cleaning with durations ranging from ten to twenty years.
The agreements ensure clean ventilation ducts through scheduled inspections every three years and cleaning as required. All work is carried out at a fixed annual cost, with no financial risk for the customer.
Many are unaware of heat loss, cooling challenges and reduced air quality that can result from dirt and deposits inside ventilation systems. This is often because only the external ducts are visible, while the internal condition of the system remains unknown.
All ventilation systems require regular cleaning to ensure safe and healthy indoor air, reduce energy loss and maintain efficient cooling. All work is documented in our quality system, including video recordings of the ducts after cleaning. The documentation is made available to the customer via a dedicated web link.
Cleaning methods with KTV Working Drone
We offer three specialised cleaning methods using KTV Working Drone.
The KTV SelfCleaner method
The KTV SelfCleaner method is an environmentally friendly “leave-on” cleaning solution developed by KTV in 2015. The method is specifically designed for tall buildings and structures exposed to green algae growth and effectively removes dirt without harming surrounding surfaces or the environment.
By using the KTV SelfCleaner method, traditional high-pressure washing, which can damage both facades and windows, is avoided. The method is gentle yet highly effective, with full effect achieved after three months. With KTV SelfCleaner, facades can be kept clean while maintenance costs are reduced over time.
We prioritise sustainability and offer unique maintenance agreements with annual follow-ups to ensure that facades remain clean at all times. Say goodbye to damaging cleaning methods and welcome a cleaner, more environmentally friendly solution with the KTV SelfCleaner method.
The KTV pure water method
Our innovative KTV pure water method is a leading solution for efficient cleaning of glass surfaces and facades without the use of harsh chemicals. Using reverse osmosis, we achieve a completely chemical-free result that is both long-lasting and environmentally friendly.
This method is particularly well suited for facades exposed to high levels of dust. It cleans both facades and windows simultaneously and is especially effective in urban environments where dust is a significant challenge.
Our modern drone is equipped with a hose that delivers purified water filtered through reverse osmosis, at a pressure of 100 bar and heated to 70°C. Each window surface is cleaned twice to ensure optimal results.
Regular window cleaning is essential for proper maintenance. Most buildings require at least two cleanings per year, while buildings in demanding climates may require up to six.
The method is developed to prevent damage to facades and windows. The drone applies no mechanical load, and the combination of moderate pressure and a gentle cleaning approach significantly reduces the risk of wear. This can result in lower maintenance costs over time.
Manual window cleaning can deliver a slightly cleaner result, but it is far more time-consuming and significantly more expensive compared to drone-based cleaning. While drones operate much faster, they do not provide the same level of detailed control as manual cleaning performed by an operator.
KTV high-pressure cleaning
KTV high-pressure cleaning uses advanced drone technology to clean surfaces with pressures of up to 300 bar. This method is ideal for surface preparation prior to painting or for restoring buildings that have been neglected over time.
It is important to note that high-pressure cleaning can be abrasive and, in some cases, may damage surfaces.
Before surface treatment, high-pressure washing is often necessary to effectively remove dirt, coatings and other contaminants.
Our drones are equipped with specially designed rotating nozzles and sensor technology that ensure fast and efficient cleaning. By using drones, personnel are not required to work at height or be exposed to the risks of eye injuries and other hazards associated with high-pressure washing. This results in a significantly safer working environment for everyone involved.
Choose KTV high-pressure cleaning for safe, efficient and modern cleaning of all types of surfaces.
KTV Group, a sustainable partner
Sustainability
Our technology and methods are developed to optimise and secure the areas we work in and, not least, to create a safer working environment for our employees. In most cases, this also reduces the total time required to complete assignments.
We have developed the KTV PowerCleaner, a fully electric, battery-powered high-pressure washer. The system is unique in its class and features a pure water solution that reduces the need for chemicals and lowers environmental impact.
Sustainable cleaning methods.
Our cleaning methods are developed with a clear focus on sustainability and surface protection.
The products we use are designed to preserve surfaces over time and prevent damage, while keeping them clean throughout the maintenance period. Buildings and public infrastructure typically have long service lives, making the choice of maintenance method a critical factor for sustainability.
Digital compliance and documentation.
The Bluetag CRM system is fully compliant with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
All assignments and projects are documented using checklists, risk assessments, reports and photos. This documentation is available to customers online from day one, ensuring full transparency, traceability and quality control throughout the entire project.
