Offshore & industry

We have a long history as a service partner for the oil, gas and industrial sectors.
Our main services for offshore and industry are cleaning, surface treatment and inspection. Our strength lies in delivering quality at the agreed time.

KTV Group was founded in Norway in 1992 and has since specialised in industrial and property cleaning, particularly within the oil and gas sector. With a strong entrepreneurial culture, the company has continuously developed new products and services.

KTV Group delivers services for rigs both onshore and offshore, as well as during rig classifications. We perform tank cleaning, pipe flushing, ventilation cleaning and general cleaning, and we supply all required ATEX equipment and ensure safe waste handling.

With experience dating back to 1992, we offer qualified personnel who can also carry out work using TT techniques. We can mobilise quickly, and our strength lies in delivering quality at the agreed time.

Good planning is key to quality and cost control. We use project management tools within the BlueTag quality system, providing full control and predictable costs for large-scale projects.

KTV Working Drone was developed between 2015 and 2020 as part of a larger innovation project. In 2025, we entered the oil and gas market with our first major operation at Equinor Kårstø, where 1,800 metres of gas pipelines were cleaned using drone technology and the SelfCleaner method. This set a new standard for safety and efficiency in industrial maintenance.

Industry

Our main services include tank cleaning, industrial cleaning, surface treatment, inspection and documentation. We carry out work on rigs both onshore and offshore, as well as during rig classifications. We provide skilled personnel across most disciplines, and all assignments are performed in accordance with strict HSE requirements and documented procedures.

Offshore

KTV Group has extensive and solid experience and has delivered services to the industry across a wide range of disciplines since 1992. Over more than three decades, we have built broad expertise across most types of surfaces, materials and industrial challenges.

Our specialised equipment and established work processes enable us to carry out assignments efficiently, safely and at the right cost, regardless of complexity.

We deliver:

Cleaning and work in high-risk environments using drones

Our drone-based cleaning solutions eliminate the need for personnel to work in high-risk environments. This reduces or removes costs and complexity related to scaffolding and access techniques.

The oil and gas sector presents significant challenges related to cleaning, surface treatment and inspection. These are areas where KTV Working Drone delivers real added value.

With extensive experience in cleaning industrial and offshore environments, we have developed sustainable and cost-effective solutions tailored to the oil and gas sector. Facilities largely consist of metallic structures that require gentle cleaning to preserve protective coatings and extend service life.

KTV SelfCleaner is a unique, in-house developed cleaning system that effectively removes dirt without damaging surfaces. This ensures long-term protection of critical installations.

We offer surface treatment and inspection using KTV Working Drone technology.

Inspection services

Advanced drone inspection for oil, gas and industry

KTV Working Drone delivers advanced inspection services developed specifically for these challenges. We combine high-resolution photography, thermal imaging and 3D modelling with engineering analysis.

Our drone-based inspections identify and document:

  • Corrosion and coating degradation on steel structures and pipelines
  • Structural deformation or cracking caused by load or vibration
  • Loose or unstable facade and panel systems with risk of falling objects
  • Moisture ingress and insulation failure in process areas
  • Thermal anomalies and leaks in tanks, vessels and piping systems
  • Overheating or electrical faults in control systems and mechanical equipment

KTV Care Inspection

These inspections are carried out without the use of scaffolding, rope access or shutdowns. This reduces costs, exposure and operational downtime, while increasing precision and safety.

All reports include visual and thermal data interpreted by engineers. The result is verified analyses with clear recommendations for maintenance and safety measures.

Surface treatment

Our goal is for the drone to perform surface treatment directly. We are currently developing advanced solutions, including targeted sandblasting, enabling local surface preparation prior to coating repair.

This innovation is driven by a clear objective to reduce the need for personnel in high-risk environments, while lowering costs and increasing efficiency for our customers.

KTV Group, a sustainable partner

Sustainability

Our technology and methods are developed to optimise and secure the areas we work in and, not least, to create a safer working environment for our employees. In most cases, this also reduces the total time required to complete assignments.

We have developed the KTV PowerCleaner, a fully electric, battery-powered high-pressure washer. The system is unique in its class and features a pure water solution that reduces the need for chemicals and lowers environmental impact.

Sustainable cleaning methods.

Our cleaning methods are developed with a clear focus on sustainability and surface protection.

The products we use are designed to preserve surfaces over time and prevent damage, while keeping them clean throughout the maintenance period. Buildings and public infrastructure typically have long service lives, making the choice of maintenance method a critical factor for sustainability.

Digital compliance and documentation.

The Bluetag CRM system is fully compliant with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

All assignments and projects are documented using checklists, risk assessments, reports and photos. This documentation is available to customers online from day one, ensuring full transparency, traceability and quality control throughout the entire project.

Cleaning technology from KTV

Smart and professional technology from KTV

KTV Working Drone is a pioneer in contact-free cleaning of windows and facades. Our unique method eliminates the need for mechanical scrubbing, significantly reducing the risk of surface damage.

Traditional methods using climbers, lifts and mechanical cleaning often result in wear and damage to facades and windows. By combining purified water with only one percent of our specially developed KTV Window and Metal Cleaner, our drone system delivers the most sustainable and surface-friendly cleaning method on the market.

KTV Selfcleaner

Between 2010 and 2015, KTV developed the KTV SelfCleaner solution in response to the damage caused by high-pressure washing and the use of aggressive chemicals. The solution was launched in 2015 and is now used on more than twenty million square metres of building surfaces worldwide.

KTV SelfCleaner is specifically developed to treat facades affected by fungi, algae and bacteria without damaging the material. The method extends the service life of building surfaces and significantly reduces long-term maintenance costs.

When combined with drone-based cleaning that removes personnel from high-risk work areas, this creates an ideal solution for sustainable and efficient building maintenance.

KTV NANO

We have developed a unique method for applying KTV NANO after cleaning. The product forms a protective barrier that prevents water ingress and helps surfaces stay clean for longer. The service life is up to ten years.

KTV NANO is recommended for all mineral surfaces, including plaster, concrete, brick facades and similar materials.

Thanks to our proprietary drone technology, we can apply the product at a capacity of up to two thousand square metres per hour. This makes the solution ideal for use within property, infrastructure and the energy sector.

*COMING SOON*

The future of drone-based surface treatment

KTV Working Drone is currently finalising technology that makes it possible to carry out spray painting and advanced surface treatments using drones. Sustainability and environmental impact are central to the development process.

This is not just about painting. Our drones will also be able to apply nano treatments and impregnation products that protect buildings against weather, wear and pollution, while extending their service life.

The drone is equipped with automated flight programmes, advanced software and safety systems that ensure precise and environmentally responsible operation.

We have available positions and are always looking for motivated and skilled people with a wide range of experience and expertise.
