Cleaning without high-pressure washing: KTV SelfCleaner

KTV SelfCleaner is used to clean surfaces without high-pressure washing. The product removes fungi and algae and can also help prevent moisture damage and rot. It eliminates algae, moss, unpleasant odours, fungi and similar contaminants.

KTV SelfCleaner can be used on all washable surfaces such as concrete, wood, painted surfaces, natural stone, roofing felt, roof tiles, plastic and maintenance-free facade panels. The product is also suitable for use in the food industry.

Wet blasting and sandblasting

Wet blasting is a further development of traditional sandblasting, with the key advantage of being virtually dust-free. The method is highly effective for removing old surface treatments from both masonry and steel.

KTV Group also performs vacuum blasting, where all abrasive material is recovered. This makes it possible to carry out blasting indoors or in areas where dust and water pose challenges.

We perform, among others:

– Removal of surface coatings on steel and masonry
– Surface preparation prior to surface treatment
– Removal of formwork oil on newly cast concrete walls
– Rust removal

Dry ice blasting

Dry ice blasting is an effective, gentle and environmentally friendly method. Instead of traditional blasting media such as sand, water or chemicals, soft dry ice pellets are used. The process leaves no secondary waste, unlike sandblasting and chemical cleaning.

Sand washing

Sand washing combines high-pressure washing and sandblasting. We use equipment operating at 400 to 500 bar with specialised nozzles that inject sand.

The method is used for:

– Removal of surface treatments
– Removal of formwork oil
– Surface preparation for improved adhesion

Lime washing

Lime washing is carried out using high pressure at 300 to 500 bar and specialised nozzles that inject lime. The method is used on surfaces that do not tolerate chemicals or where sand washing would be too aggressive.

Lime washing is particularly well suited for older masonry facades where great care is required.

Applications include:

– Cleaning of facades
– Cleaning of sculptures and ornamental elements

Nano coating for concrete and plaster

KTV Group offers a unique system for the protection of concrete based on nanotechnology. The product is considered one of the most advanced nano-protection systems globally and extends the service life of concrete while preventing corrosion damage.

After treatment, the surface becomes self-cleaning. The product also has documented environmental benefits: 15 m² of treated surface reduces environmental emissions equivalent to one year of emissions from a car in use.

Painting

KTV Group works closely with leading paint suppliers to ensure that we always offer the best solutions to our customers.

Our property division has extensive experience in the rehabilitation of apartment buildings, facades, terraced houses, stairwells and residential blocks. In recent years, we have completed major projects for numerous housing cooperatives and owners’ associations in Bergen. We are also happy to assist with advice and information for residents prior to project start.

KTV Group offers maintenance agreements for exterior facades with durations ranging from five to twenty years.

Impregnation

Through our partners, KTV Group offers nano-based impregnation of surfaces such as concrete and other mineral materials. These products are highly effective and provide long-lasting protection against water ingress.

Impregnation also helps buildings remain cleaner over time. Our R&D department tests new products on the market annually to identify solutions capable of keeping surfaces clean for five to ten years.
