KTV Group Øst (KTV Group Eastern Norway) has been presented with an exciting challenge in Tønsberg: to clean the facades and windows of Tønsberg’s tallest building, Signaturen. The 43-meter-high landmark is located by the sea at Kaldnes, with the ocean on two sides of the building. We tackle the challenge by using KTV Working Drone for building cleaning, utilizing a boat for both pilot and drone during the operation.
We employ gentle methods when cleaning the surfaces of the buildings, ensuring the work is carried out without risk of damage compared to traditional high-pressure washing. For facade cleaning, we utilize the SelfCleaner method, while the pure water method is used for window cleaning. Both methods have been developed by KTV Group and are executed without traditional health and safety challenges associated with working at heights, making them safer for the surrounding environment.
With over 33 years of experience and 7 years of development, KTV Group, alongside the KTV Working Drone, has developed unique and highly effective cleaning methods and workflows that enable the use of drones for facade and window cleaning.
