KTV Group has been commissioned to clean the glass facades at Bergen Airport with a drone. Access to the work area is challenging and complicated, and the window cleaning has previously been carried out using access techniques/facade climbing.
Using drones at airports is not easy, but KTV Group and KTV Working Drone have been chosen, to avoid the challenges of traditionally difficult access to the airport areas.
Authorities in Spain have also contacted KTV Working Drone for the same reason as Bergen Airport. The goal is to replace traditional cleaning methods with cleaning carried out by drones. This applies to 57 airports across Spain.
