KTV Group have carried out facade and window cleaning of Sjømannsvegen 25 and Sjømannsveien 29 in Sameiet Fri Sikt Volsdalsberga Midt in Ålesund. The two buildings, of 4 and 8 storeys respectively, was cleaned using the Pure Water method, mainly with the KTV Working Drone.

Sameiet Fri Sikt Volsdalsberga Midt consists of a total of 6 buildings of varying sizes, with 159 residential units in total. KTV Group already cleaned the facades of three of the lower buildings using the Pure Water method in 2024, and is now continuing the work with facade and window cleaning on behalf of the client.

The buildings are located close to the sea, which exposes the facades to significant amounts of salt over time. The salt corrodes the surfaces, meaning the buildings require regular exterior facade and window cleaning to stay in good condition. The Pure Water method is gentle on both facades and windows, delivering a thorough result without the use of high pressure or chemicals. With the KTV Working Drone, the work can be carried out efficiently and safely, without the need for lifts or traditional access equipment on the tallest buildings.
