KTV Group has completed exterior facade cleaning at Haraldsplass Diakonale Sykehus (hospital) in Bergen. The assignment is part of the company’s growing focus on public infrastructure and property, where new technology delivers clear benefits in health and safety, sustainability and efficiency.
The work at Haraldsplass was carried out in two stages. The facades were first cleaned thoroughly to remove dirt and biological growth. The surfaces were then treated with KTV SelfCleaner, which has a long lasting effect and helps keep the facades clean over time.
A large part of the work was carried out with KTV Working Drone. Drone technology makes it possible to move more and more of the work away from lifts, scaffolding and traditional work at height. This significantly reduces health and safety risk, requires less rigging and makes the work more efficient. It also reduces the need for heavy equipment and transport on site, which supports a more sustainable way of carrying out assignments.
The expansion towards the public sector continues, with particular focus on public infrastructure and property. Major agreements with Oslobygg KF and Stavanger kommune, and now the work at Haraldsplass in Bergen, show that drone technology meets the needs of the public sector.
KTV Group operates from five locations in Norway and works systematically with quality, health, safety and the environment. The company is ISO certified.
