The amazing cruise ship features a state-of-the-art cleaning system that includes drones from KTV Working Drone.

The drone was developed, thoroughly tested, and tailored, and has been in operational use since 2020 by KTV Group. In 2022, the drone services were spun off into a separate company and further developed as KTV Working Drone. KTV Working Drone became the first company in the world to use drones in this way across various industries.

For Icon of the Seas, Royal Caribbean International desired a more efficient and secure approach to the ship’s cleaning tasks, something KTV Working Drone could provide. The aim was to minimize the risk to personnel while streamlining the cleaning process. After thorough training of the crew in Spain, the ship was ready to showcase its groundbreaking cleaning solution.
